Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices, and will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Lead cloud architecture decisions ensuring scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
Manage and enhance Azure services including Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, and Security.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Ensure cloud security best practices, including identity management, network security, encryption, and compliance.
Support application migration from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
Collaborate closely with application teams, DevOps, security, and architecture teams.
Mentor junior cloud engineers and contribute to cloud standards and best practices.
Participate in on-call support and incident resolution for production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5–8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
Strong expertise in core Azure services:
Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS.
Azure Virtual Network, Load Balancers, Application Gateway.
Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
Azure Active Directory / Entra ID.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep).
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and automation.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
The pay range for this role is $100,000- $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
