Role: Active Directory Admin
Location: Franklin, TN
Level 3 support:
Overview: An L3 Support Active Directory Administrator is responsible for the highest level of technical support and problem resolution for an organization’s Active Directory environment. This role requires advanced knowledge and experience in managing complex AD infrastructures, providing expert-level troubleshooting, and implementing strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support for Active Directory services, resolving complex issues that have escalated from L1, L2, and L3 support levels.
Design and implement highly available and secure AD architectures, including multi-domain and multi-forest environments.
Oversee the management of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), ensuring compliance with organizational security policies.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting of DNS, replication, authentication, and other AD-related issues.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Active Directory, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AD with cloud services, such as Azure Active Directory.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize and streamline AD operations and processes.
Analyze Microsoft Baseline security best practices and recommend solutions to improve AD security footprint.
Perform AD rationalization and AD sites OU restructures for better resource management.
Implement AD security auditing and Logging to improve overall observability and reduce risks.
Active Directory PKI administration and manage certificate authority.
Expertise in handling AD backup and restore.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior administrators and support staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent advanced Microsoft certifications.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Active Directory administration, with a focus on L4 support.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
Experience with Azure AD and hybrid environments.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), LDAP, DNS, and related technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
