Role Snapshot/Role Summary As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test and document software products and services across Customer & Marketing Technology. You will ensure that solutions delivered are high quality, cost effective and meet or exceed support and operational requirements. How you will contribute ¿ Solution estimation (time & cost) ¿ Solution design, development and testing ¿ Provision of solution support (2nd & 3rd level) ¿ Environment and configuration management ¿ Adhere to Tabcorp delivery methodology and best practice, ensuring repeatable and ongoing success through continuous improvement and agile work practices. Our Ideal Person ¿ Sound knowledge and experience in a Database Programming role ¿ Demonstrated experience in Object Orientated development ¿ Commercial knowledge & proficiency in database development (eg. IRIS/Oracle/SQL/SAP) with a willingness to cross train to Intersystems IRIS technology, essential. ¿ Commercial experience provisioning REST Web Services desirable ¿ Commercial knowledge in C or C++ programming, desirable ¿ Commercial experience with Cloud delivery of applications desirable ¿ Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to influence and drive adoption and a continuous improvement culture within a team. ¿ A results driven approach including a proactive management of problems. ¿ Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams. ¿ Ability to foster cross team collaboration. ¿ Solid understanding of relevant legislation and associated regulations. ¿ Knowledge of gambling and entertainment industries.
