Job Summary
1. Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust VMware Horizon VDI solutions that leverage Azure IaaS resources. 2. Architecture: Develop architectural designs and blueprints for VMware Horizon environments with a strong focus on Azure IaaS components, ensuring scalability, redundancy, and cost effectiveness. 3. Azure Integration: Integrate VMware Horizon with Azure IaaS, leveraging Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and other Azure services as needed. 4. Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of VMware Horizon solutions, coordinating the setup of virtual desktops, application provisioning, and Azure resource provisioning. 5. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the VMware Horizon environment and Azure resources to ensure high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. 6. Security: Implement and enforce security best practices for both VMware Horizon and Azure resources to protect virtual desktops, applications, and data. 7. Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute a hybrid cloud strategy that leverages both on premises and Azure resources for VMware Horizon deployments. 8. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to VMware Horizon and Azure IaaS, providing timely support to end users and IT teams. 9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures for VMware Horizon and Azure environments. 10. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including network, storage, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration of VMware Horizon with Azure IaaS and on premises infrastructure. 11. Vendor Management: Evaluate and recommend third party tools and technologies to enhance VMware Horizon and Azure capabilities. 12.
