SharePoint Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
¿ Provide project execution, coordination and technical expertise relating to planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining IT solutions related to SharePoint.
¿ Partner with internal stakeholders, system integrators and vendors to construct and deploy various solutions in accordance with established strategy and architecture.
¿ Experience in coordinating multiple vendors with many moving parts and dependencies.
¿ Experience managing co located outsourced project teams.
¿ Must have the ability to drive to solution delivery and meet aggressive timelines.
¿ Manage risks, issues, and implementation plan to ensure high quality implementations.
¿ Provide project governance and provide required project documentation.
¿ Manage project financials and create management financial tracking and reporting.
¿ Manage projects in accordance with best practices and client's IT project management standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
¿ Excellent ability to understand business requirements/impacts in a highly technical environment.
¿ Bachelor¿s degree in Computer related degree or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
¿ Strong Project Management and Vendor Management skills and work experience.
¿ Must have managed outsourced vendor project teams.
¿ Experience in both application and infrastructure implementation projects.
¿ Extensive experience with project management skills and best practices.
¿ Experience leading IT projects.
¿ 8+ years in a corporate IT environment
¿ 7+ years experience in project management
¿ Experience in SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online projects
¿ Experience in SharePoint on premise and Online migration projects
¿ Project management certification is preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)
¿ Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
¿ Develop and design presentations¿primarily in PowerPoint¿that advance key business objectives and tell the story through clean, concise, and well organized slides.
¿ Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
¿ Lead: Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.
