Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong focus on Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization using Power BI. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling data driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
  • Implement data governance and best practices for data management.
  • Conduct data quality checks and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide training and support to end users on Power BI functionalities.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong emphasis on Power BI.
  • Expertise in Power BI Data Analysis and visualization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleansing and transformation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics.
  • Certifications in Power BI or related data analytics fields are a plus.
