Job Summary

Job Title: Linux and Cloud Service Executor

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux and Cloud Administrator to manage and support enterprise grade SUSE Linux environments, oversee deployments in AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, ITSM processes, and effective change and service request handling for SAP clients.

Experience:

Working experience with SAP managed service management.

Change Management: Experience working as change owner/ coordinator or Service execution specialist in IT Infrastructure domain.


Service Execution Specialist: Should have working experience of more than one year in this role in SAP ECS environment.


Key Responsibilities

Linux Systems Management:
Deploy, configure, and maintain SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).
Apply patches, updates, and security hardening to Linux & Windows VMs.
Can understand the client‿s requirement and configure sFTP, SAMBA, Squid Proxy, DNS Forward and Zone transfer.
Deep understanding on creating LVMs, mounting CIFS Shares and NFS Volumes.
Can comfortably perform OS Service Pack upgrades as well as Volume migrations.
Resize VMs (CPU, RAM) on all major Hyperscales like Azure, AWS and GCP as well as on VMware.
Cloud Administration:
Deploy, configure, and manage workloads in AWS, GCP and Azure.
Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
Knowledge on add/modify of Azure NSG rules, AWS NACL and GCP Firewall.
Collaboration:
Work with cross functional teams (BASIS & DB) to support infrastructure and application needs.


Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands on experience with SLES administration.
Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, NACL, TGW, Peering) and Azure (VMs, Networking, Storage, VNET, NSG) and GCP (VMs, Firewalls, Peering).
Must have worked on SAP SPC and SR Dashboard.
Proven track record in Service Request handling and troubleshooting.
Stakeholder communications: Publish timely, factual updates (impact, actions, ETA, next update) to internal and external channels.
Service restoration: Orchestrate rollback, failover, scale up, config fixes, and change freezes to restore service quickly
ITIL Process: Experience working in ITIL aligned environments and familiarity with incident, change, and problem management workflows
SAP Environment: Experience supporting SAP workloads in ECS infrastructure and familiar with SAP landscapes and filesystem dependencies
