We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium (Java) and JMeter to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, frameworks, and tools, ensuring high quality deliverables in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Implement test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Maven, or similar) for scalable automation solutions.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter, analyze results, and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Prepare detailed test reports, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver.
- Hands on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
- Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes.
- Knowledge of REST API testing and tools like Postman (optional but preferred).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
