The pay range for this role is $80,000- $90,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. About the Role and Job:
Position: PeopleSoft Admin
Location : Toronto, Canada
Mode of Work : Hybrid (3 days a week)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with strong expertise in application and tools upgrades, environment management, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, Oracle WebLogic, and database administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PeopleSoft Application and Tools upgrades (FSCM 9.2).
- Propose infrastructure sizing and upgrade strategies for Oracle PeopleSoft Application.
- Apply latest PeopleTools and PUM Images (selective & full) to FSCM 9.2.
- Install, configure, and manage Web, App, and Batch components.
- Execute environment creation and upgrade passes (Initial, MTP1, MTP2, MTP3, Dry Run, Final Move).
- Prepare retrofit analysis reports and compare PeopleTools and Application objects.
- Implement preventive and corrective actions during upgrade passes.
- Install and configure latest software for PeopleTools (Tuxedo, WebLogic, JDK, Elastic Search, Microfocus).
- Create and manage multiple SDLC environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD, DR).
- Perform environment cloning and database cloning.
- Conduct performance tuning for Web/App/Batch components.
- Apply latest patches for PeopleTools and middleware (Tuxedo, WebLogic).
- Install and renew SSL certificates in Oracle WebLogic 12c/14c.
- Manage post-upgrade activities (report node, server setup, LDAP, IB, SES, COBOL, Verity, SSO, SMTP).
- Troubleshoot tools and application upgrade issues and environmental problems.
- Administer PeopleSoft on Windows & UNIX platforms.
- Set up DR environment for PeopleSoft 9.2.
- Install and configure Oracle 19c database and perform upgrades.
- Perform 19c Database Administration (added advantage).
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–14+ years of PeopleSoft Administration experience.
- Expertise in PeopleTools upgrades, Application upgrades, and environment management.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic, Tuxedo, JDK, Elastic Search, and related components.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c installation and administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for upgrade and environment issues.
- Working knowledge of Windows & UNIX platforms.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
