The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software development, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the Oil & Gas business. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and implement software applications tailored to the needs of the Oil & Gas sector.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure software solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Oil & Gas.
Document software designs, processes, and user manuals for end users.
Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas business processes and operations.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience in developing mobile applications.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5 7 years of relevant software development experience.
Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions in the Oil & Gas industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
