Job Summary
Tech M BPS 24x7 Network Service L2 Job Description Job Details: ¿ Troubleshooting Routing, switching issues and providing solutions within agreed SLA. ¿ Configuration and Management of Cisco 6509 E Series Switches and Cisco 4506, 4507 R, 3750 and 3560 series switch, Nexus 9K Series Switches, Cisco Catalyst 6880 switches with VSS ¿ Monitoring and troubleshooting of Network Infra related reported Issue. ¿ Configuration & Troubleshooting of VLAN, VTP, PVST, HSRP, VRRP and DHCP, Ether Channel, ¿ AAA configuration on Switches & Routers. ¿ Installation & Replacement of Switch Modules like Sup Engines, WAN cards, SFP module, POE line cards & Switch chassis. ¿ Installing, upgrading and backing up IOS of Cisco Routers and Switches ¿ Strong experience on routing Static routing / Dynamic Routing protocols i.e. EIGRP, OSPF and BGP. ¿ Administering and monitoring daily activities, monitoring performance, taking backups of network devices. ¿ Troubleshoot all networking problems to ensure minimum downtime & maximum availability. ¿ Basic understanding of CA spectrum, Wireshark and Kiwi Syslog tool. ¿ Providing technical support for installation activities and routine troubleshooting of Network Infrastructure. ¿ Candidate should be ready to work in 24*7 Shifts Change Management ¿ Perform Change Management as per the process. ¿ Change Raising to facilitate incident resolution Experience and Skill required must: ¿ Hands on experience more than 4+ Years on Switching & Routing. ¿ Considerable knowledge and experience in setting up Cisco network components, specifically Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, Nexus 7K & 9K Series Switches and Cisco Routers. ¿ Considerable knowledge and experience in Net Flow Analyzer. ¿ Considerable knowledge and experience on MPLS network & VRF. ¿ Considerable knowledge of Firewalls & VPN technology. ¿ Considerable knowledge on NAT /PAT ¿ Considerable knowledge and experience in VSS and VPC technology. ¿ Working knowledge of TCP/IP addressing and routing, SSL, FTP, SFTP and other OSI protocols is required. ¿ Considerable knowledge & Experience with ISE, enterprise Wireless network. ¿ Minimum CCNA in R & S Certified. ¿ Exposure on Cisco 6800, 6500,4500 and Nexus 9K switching platforms ¿ Exposure on Cisco 2900 and 3900 series routing platforms ¿ Sound knowledge of STP, RSTP & MST. ¿ Excellent communication skills required ¿ Ability to handle complex network issues independently. ¿ Should have passion towards new trends in technology ¿ ITIL Certified or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines ¿ Experience in contact center, BPO environment is preferred but not mandatory ¿ Customer relationship development and influencing skills ¿ Ability to work under pressure and remain decisive.
All Buddy referrals will be through Buddy Portal and Referrer must provide all relevant details like Passport Details, Date of Birth & Email ID of Buddy without any ambiguity in the Buddy portal. Profiles referred through any other means will not be eligible for consideration under the Buddy Scheme.
ELIGIBILITY/APPLICABILITY TO PROCEED WITH BUDDY REFERRAL.
a) Buddy referrals can be submitted against all Lateral open demand in bands U2 to E1 and
b) Candidature of a Buddy will remain valid for consideration against any opening for a maximum period of three months (90 days) from the date of screening by the Recruiter (Applicant id creation Date) Thus, associate would be eligible for Referral Fee even if the Buddy doesn't get selected against the opening for which buddy was referred initially but gets selected subsequently (within this six months validity period) for another opening and joins Tech M.
An associate must fulfill following additional criteria to be eligible for Referral Fee: -
i. Referred candidate should have been registered in the Buddy Portal with an Applicant Id.
ii. Referrer should have provided correct details pertaining to Buddy being referred including details like IT PAN Card No., Passport Details, Date of Birth, Email ID and ex-Tech M ID details without any ambiguity in the Buddy Tool. Profile/s uploaded with incorrect details will not be eligible for the referral.
iii. Buddy bonus payout will be subject to applicable tax deductions: -
iv. The buddy bonus is payable after the Buddy completes 90 days in TechM subject to fulfillment of all other criteria mentioned in this policy with the ensuing payroll-cycle.
v. At the time of payment of Referral Fee, Buddy/Referrer should not be Serving Notice Period/ Resigned/ Separated.
vi. The Background Verification (BV) should have been successfully completed and the BV Status should be Green/Green from Red/Green from Amber. for Buddy and BV of the referral associate should Green/Green from Red/Green from Amber/NA (ie Rebadging/Acquisition/Group co) .
vii. Candidate(s) being referred as Buddy should not have been an employee of Tech M or its subsidiaries any time in a period of 12 months immediately preceding the subscription of candidature as Buddy.
viii. Candidate/Buddy should not be a member of family of associate referring his/her candidature. Here, the term Family encompasses Spouse, Children including legally adopted ones and Siblings .
ix. Referrer should not have been on Selection Panel for the position for which the referred candidate is being considered for, at any stage .
x. Referrer should not have reporting relationship with Buddy till the time payment is made of buddy joining.
