5-7 years of experience minimum in Oracle Apps DBA systems including RAC. Should know how to performance tune an Oracle DB. Can assess cost of SQL queries and recommend improvements Weblogic Admin or Fusion middleware Admin experience (Experience in Both is very good) Must know how to use and understand the OEM tool. 5 years minimum experience in enterprise Oracle DBs. Understanding how to performance tune the DB settings and also analyse the cost of sql queries and provide recommendations to development. Must be familiar with OEM and have strong communication skills. Responsible for all aspects of Application database administration including configuration, autoconfig, product upgrades, capacity planning, backup and recovery. Responsible for evaluating patching requests, communicating constraints, issues and timelines for deployment. Serve as technical lead, Database Administrator for Oracle core databases supporting non E-Business Suite applications. Serve as the primary Oracle Application DBA, tasked with successfully recovering systems from Disaster for Deployed systems. Support change management including maintenance across multiple environments and deploying approved patches. Support security/SOX Audit Reporting and provide input and recommendations. Provide production and operational support including pro-active database monitoring, issue resolution and on call duties. Support Database and Oracle 11 E-business suite optimization including performance tuning, query optimization and supportability. Manage and work through Oracle’s (Service Requests) SR escalation process, applying software patches and upgrading the Oracle Applications environments. Provide leadership for DBA Projects. Provide mentoring of DBA team members"
