Job Description Site Support EngineerThe End User computing personnel will be responsible for managing day to day operations of IT Workplace Service at customer premisesThe Desktop Technician role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organizations desktop computing environment This includes installing diagnosing repairing maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware mobile devices  video conferencing and other IT equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance The person will also Desktop SupportInstall upgrade support and troubleshoot XP Windows and Microsoft Office and any other authorized desktop Laptop applicationsPerforms general preventative maintenance tasks on computers laptops printers and any other authorised peripheral equipmentCustomize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standardsDevelop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls tickets problems and support requestsSystem Application Network SupportInstall upgrade support and troubleshoot Enterprise Applications hosted on Windows OSEnsure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems includingCoordinate Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN WAN environmentRequesting and coordinating vendor supportWorking knowledge of WAN MPLS and related WAN technologiesOperationalDealing with hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk and escalated to the Desktop Support AdministratorTroubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware softwareUse appropriate tools and methodologies to load copy and customize operating system configurations for deploymentProvides backup support and assistance to the Network Administrator as needed
