R&D RCT/RCAT Engineer will be responsible for the following:¿ Installation and maintenance of the R&D RCT/RCAT test stations that Keysight installed in key customers for collaboration activities. ¿ SW updates and troubleshoot possible problems in Keysight equipment at customer¿s labs. Calibration and installation of mmWave RF setups and OTA chambers for R&D collaboration in customer facilities.¿ Integration, Verification and validation of RF test scripts for 5G wireless communications at the customer facilities, in constant communication with the R&D team.¿ Execution of test cases with the customer¿s devices for regression tests and baseline of performance data, as requested by customers and also for Keysight internal debugging.¿ Collect test equipment logs and customer devices logs for troubleshooting of detected issues in the R&D stage and during collaboration sessions. Use JIRA to properly report and track the issues to the R&D team.¿ GCF/PTCRB validation tasks. Running test cases in customer facilities and provide the results to Keysight validation team, based in the current status of the validation target and the availability of customer¿s devices. ¿ Possible travel for RCAT test cases validation activities at the US carrier¿s labs.¿ Possible Technical discussions with customers and carriers about the test case results to achieve validation status, for RCT and RCAT test suites when necessary.¿ Configuration and calibration of customer¿s wireless devices to be used for the tasks described above. Track and follow the different devices and configurations used for each activity.¿ R&D level customer support of key customers during the different stages of collaboration activities, to allow a smooth transition from R&D collaboration stage to post sales customer support stage, when the key collaboration customers start to use Keysight test systems by themselves after the feature integration is completed. Travel to visit these customer facilities when required.¿ Possible extension of these task to signaling systems (PCT/PCAT) in the future.The desired candidate should: Have 7 10+ years of relevant experience in the wireless test and measurement ecosystem. Have an excellent understanding of RF test platforms. Have an excellent knowledge of the challenges associated with the development/design/testing of RF test cases for wireless communications. Have knowledge of the 3GPP LTE Advanced and 5GNR technologies and the 3GPP specification that defines them. Have knowledge of GCF/PTCRB device certification processes. Have knowledge of the configuration and control of test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with tasks/issues management systems such as JIRA. Bachelors, Master University Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
