SMS SME (Experience: 3to 8years) JD :¿ Troubleshoot aggregator issues such as connection outages, bind errors, message delivery issues.¿ Escalate quality level drops specific to country to aggregators and Google client.¿ Troubleshoot country level, carrier level message delivery issues.¿ Timely resolution of issues raised by internal Google clients message delivery, delivery latency, blocks, etc¿ UAT test cases and aggregator/carrier onboarding.¿ Automate frequent troubleshooting steps so as to accelerate problem isolation and thereby resolution of latency, dlr dip¿ Setup scripts to assess potential routing problem areas¿ Update trouble tickets in relevant Google tools¿ Feed input to report generation¿ Identify areas of improvement for mobile gateway from an operational perspective¿ Write post mortems of the issues seen and share with relevant stakeholdersSkill set required:¿ Knowledge of MySQL queries Database (or any other database)¿ UNIX/Linux experience scripting, basic OS concepts¿ Experience working on protocol PDU levels SMPP mandatory¿ Usage experience of trouble ticketing tools.¿ Experience preparing Issue Summary Reports, Recommendations, Identifying patterns¿ Knowledge of python/shell for data analysisMandatory skill set required¿ Creating ppt, playbook, process document, High level/Low Level design doc¿ Capable to give training/presentation to the team/stakeholder¿ SMSC, SMPP, HTTP,HTTPS, SIGTRAN,SS7 experience¿ Knowledge and relevant experience on VPN and messaging nodes (SMSC, Bulk SMS, SMSR, SMSHUB)¿ Troubleshoot aggregator issues such as connection outages, bind errors, message delivery issues.¿ Escalate quality level drops specific to country to aggregators and Google client.¿ Troubleshoot country level, carrier level message delivery issues.¿ Timely resolution of issues raised by internal Google clients message delivery, delivery latency, blocks, etc¿ UAT test cases and aggregator/carrier onboarding.¿ Automate frequent troubleshooting steps so as to accelerate problem isolation and thereby resolution of latency, dlr dip¿ Setup scripts to assess potential routing problem areas¿ Update trouble tickets in relevant tools¿ Feed input to report generation¿ Identify areas of improvement for SMSC platform from an operational perspective¿ Write postmortems/RCA of the issues seen and share with relevant stakeholdersOther skill set required:¿ Knowledge of MySQL queries Database (or any other database)¿ UNIX/Linux experience scripting, basic OS concepts¿ Experience working on protocol PDU levels Wireshark tracing mandatory¿ Usage experience of trouble ticketing tools.¿ Experience preparing Issue Summary Reports, Recommendations, Identifying patterns¿ Knowledge of python/shell for data analysisAttitude / behaviour skills :Things that we need to focus on apart from technical skillset.1.
