Job Summary
Analyze SSIS package designs and data migration plans to identify testing requirements. Develop comprehensive test cases covering various data scenarios, including positive and negative testing. Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and transformation logic in both SSIS and Azure environments. Compare source data in SSIS with target data in Azure to ensure accurate migration. Identify and document data discrepancies, bugs, and defects in the migration process. Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to resolve identified issues. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on data quality aspects of the migration. Maintain and update test scripts and documentation as the migration progresses. Stay up to date on data migration best practices and Azure data technologies.
